My daughter likes the word “too”. Right now everything is “too this and too that”. Here’s an example.
Emily: “Mom, I love you.”
Me: “I love you more.”
Emily: “I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH!”
So cute. I kinda hope she never stops saying it.
I wasn’t surprised when I took Emily to the cutest little donut shop I have ever seen and she declared the tiny treats were “too terrific”! They really are. If you have never been to BB’s Baby Donuts in Western Springs, I suggest to hop in your car and drive right there! ( A big thanks to my friend Trisha who discovered BB’s and suggested we meet there during a recent shopping and lunch day.) As for me and Emily, we had a blast watching the donuts being made right before our eyes. I think she could have stood there all day, watching every single little donut flip through the machine landing in a pile of goodness ready to be dressed in the most unusual and delicious toppings. BB’s offers your classic flavors like powered sugar and cinnamon sugar topped with vanilla frosting. Plus, some really amazing donuts to curb any chocolate craving. Think Snickers, Reeses and Nutella. YUM. YUM. YUM. Then, there is the unusual. My favorite is the “Bacon My Baby” baby donut. This donut is drizzled with maple frosting and bits of bacon. It’s served warm and gooey. IT IS AWESOME. I ate three of them. But they are tiny, remember? I could have eaten about a hundred more. Maybe next time. Emily went for the ( no surprise ) sprinkles baby donuts. We were both very, very happy. Next time I think I’ll have to have the lemon or the PB&J. Decisions, decisions! Check out the flavors and a little history on how a husband and wife started BB’s Baby Donuts here on their website http://www.bbbabydonuts.com I defiantly like BB’s TOO much and will be visiting time and time again.
