HALLOWEEN SNOW

Yep, we had SNOW on Halloween.  It was cold, it was wet, it was… well, like a winter day. It wasn’t but a little over a week earlier that the weather had been beautiful. Emily and I spent a warm fall evening at the neighborhood park where she happily tried out her costume while I snapped some photos for this year’s Halloween cards.  I LOVE sending out Halloween cards. I think they’re just as fun to receive as Christmas cards.  Okay, let’s be honest.  I love all holiday cards. I love thumbing through them seeing how she’s grown over the years.  The biggest change I have noticed this year:  the choice of costume.  Gone are the sweet kitty cat, unicorn, princess and cowgirl costumes.  This year, she wanted to be something scary. ( Have to admit I was a little sad about this, sniff sniff )  A scary dinosaur or dragon or whatever she decided day-by-day that she wanted to be.  I still think she looks pretty sweet though. 🙂   Can’t wait to see what next year will bring!
