Last year at this time we were stuck at home left to wonder what the year ahead would hold. Now, with August fast approaching and summer activities being back ( thankfully!), we are starting to get STATE FAIR FEVER. I must admit, I am still a bit hesitant to be among large crowds, though being outdoors does make me feel better. Actually, I wonder how many years post-COVID I will finally not obsess over hand sanitizing and mask wearing.

In the meantime, our daughter is thrilled at the possibility that a state fair visit could be on the calendar. It’s been our summer tradition to head to the Wisconsin State Fair to celebrate and mark the end of summer break and the beginning of a new school year. All of this talk of the fair makes me want to go back and look at some of the photos we’ve taken. Another reason why it’s never a bad idea to get out that camera, cell phone or other, and click away! The simple joy of seeing how your child has grown throughout the years is reason enough. 🙂
