A big congratulations to this lovely couple on their engagement! When I asked where they would like to take their engagement photos, the bride-to-be suggested a place where she and her fiancé have spent a lot of time together: a beautiful forest preserve where they’ve walked many, many miles together, spending hours and hours talking. Isn’t that such a big wonderful piece of the marriage pie? Listening to what your partner has to say, on the good days.. the bad days.. and every day in-between. And it always seems talking while walking just helps put everything in focus. Am I right?! I loved spending time with Kate and Mat and wish them a long, beautiful life together!
