As you know, every so often, you need to go through your photos and delete to make space for new images. I have to do this on my phone, a lot!

Well, I recently deleted many… well hundreds… of photos in my Lightroom files. Lightroom is where I edit. Sometimes I’ll see a photo that I kinda like, but don’t love. Keep it, and revisit it later. This is one such photo. It’s from last spring, and not of some particular event or outing… but just a walk. And a stop to pick some dandelions to blow them into the wind.

After a bit of editing, I decided that I love the colors in this image. While it’s not in perfect focus, I still like the movement of the tiny dandelion seeds taking flight. And I like the sun shining on my daughter’s hair.

So, I guess I’m happy that it didn’t get deleted with all of those other images 😉
